Helena Airport is located in Montana and finds it's cosy place right in the centre of the Rocky Mountains. This airport was founded in 1911 by Cromwell Dixon. Mr. Dixon was known as The World's Greatest Aviator. The man died when was flying in Washington just after receiving a $10,000 prize for his aviation talents. In 1933 the famous Amelia Earnhart landed at the airport during some work she was doing on a contract with Northwest Airlines. The airport holds a partnership with Montana Army National Guard to provide supreme security to the airport, aircrafts, and passengers.

The custodians work day to day keeping the environment clean and safe. This airport has been reviewed as the cleanest airport in Montana. The parking is free for one hour which is generous considering that most airports do not allow free parking for more than 15 minutes. If you will need to park longer than that there is a fee of only 2 dollars a day or 10 dollars a week.

These fees are generously low when compared to other airports. There is a long term lot for vehicles that receive extra security. Airport staff is ready to assist any disabled or special needs customers. This airport is home to Captain Jack's Bistro and bar where you can order to-go items or dine-in. They also provide you with a relaxing atmosphere and they have 10 beers on tap. You will also find a shopping area and an information booth at the Helena Airport.

If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
