Transport

Trains
The Alaska Railroad operate trains from Seward, which is located along the southern Kenai Peninsula, all the way to the northern city of Fairbanks, approximately 470 miles away. Two passenger services operate during the summer season. Along Anchorage's northern railway, the Denali Star operates a daily service from Denali onto Fairbanks, Anchorage and then Talkeetna. To the south, operating daily from Seaward to Anchorage is the Coastal Classic train.
