It is located on the border of Georgia and South Carolina, and about 150 miles east of the city of Atlanta. Augusta is the second largest city in the city, as well as the second largest metropolitan area.

There has been a growth in businesses in the downtown area of Augusta within the last few years. This has made the downtown district a popular area for nightlife and tourism. There are a lot of bars and music clubs that all participate in First Friday. This is a weekly event where the atmosphere turns into that of a carnival and makes the businesses prosper even more. It is one of the many traditions that Augusta shares with residents and guests alike.

Another thing you will have to check out when you are in Augusta is the Augusta Riverwalk downtown that runs along the Savannah River. You can also rent boats to sail on the river as well.
