Driving
Improved road conditions have made driving around Dalaman much easier than in years past, although foreign drivers are advised to drive defensively in Turkey. The popular road from Dalaman International Airport to Feyithe and Kalkan (D400) is well managed but has numerous sharp curves. Always ensure you’re carrying your passport and rental documentation as police run checks frequently in the region. Speed limits are 56mph for rural areas and 31mph in towns.

Trains
There are no rail services to Dalaman International Airport or to the city of Dalaman. The closest rail station is in the city of Denizli, located around four hours to the north of Dalaman.
Taxis
Taxis can be acquired directly outside the Arrivals area of both terminals 24 hours. A trip into the city of Dalaman only takes around 10 minutes, whilst service to Kalkan takes about two hours. Buses
Havas offers bus services from Dalaman International Airport to Feyithe and Marmaris, where passengers can connect to almost any major destination in Turkey. Buses leave the airport around 25 minutes after each arriving flight and will allow passengers to exit at any stopping point along the route.
Terminals
Dalaman International Airport is comprised of two terminals – one for domestic flights and one for international flights. The newer international terminal is situated on the south end of the airport, whilst the older terminal is just a few hundred metres to the north. There is a walkway connecting the two facilities; no terminal transfer services are currently available.
Parking
There are nearly 600 parking spaces in the car park situated directly across from the international terminal building. Parking for less than one hour costs about £3; from one to three hours the cost is about £4; for three to six hours about £6; six to 12 hours is around £7; and for 12 to 24 hours the price is about £10. Monthly cards are also available for purchase.
Wi-Fi
High-speed Wi-Fi is available in the international terminal building after passport control in the Park Café area as well as in the CIP lounge.

Dalaman International Airport features a large assortment of gift shops offering local goods and basic travel accessories; these are located on both sides of the International terminal entrance. Moreover, a wealth of duty-free goods including cosmetics, spirits, tobacco products, chocolates, toys, clothing, jewellery and more are available beyond the passport checkpoint via UniFree. The airport also boasts AirLet, the ‘world’s first’ duty-free outlet store. Items on offer include designer goods, textiles, ceramics, crafts and collectibles.
