Didim is a small town and sacred place located in the district of Soke in Ayden province, very close to the ancient cities of Miletos, Soke, Ephesus and Bo drum. Tourists arriving here should hire a car to travel to the many sites of interest in and around Didim.

Panormos is the local harbor with a yacht club, heliport, dry-dock, swimming pool and shopping mall, and is therefore a lovely place to take the family.

Altinkum, one of Turkey's natural beaches, is located in Didim. It offers water sports, hotels, restaurants, bars and clubs.

Tourists should not miss out on a tour of the three temples; Didyma, Artemis and the Apollon temple, which was one of the masterpieces of Hellenistic architecture.

Ephesus is known as the best museum in the world and is located near to Didim. It's building is beautiful and graceful and exhibits a delicate blend of contemporary Turkish arches and other monuments of historical interest. You will find the world famous library in the heart of Celcius.

Tourist's must visit the Virgin Mary's House, located high up in the hills where the Pope passes through the door. Another great tourist attractions is Didim is the Aqua Park, famous for its water sports. Both adults and children can surf on their amazing water pool.

Take a trip to Didim market and browse their large variety of hand made jewellery, fruits and vegetables. There are great bargains to be had, especially if you enjoy bartering.  

The lovely bay of Akbuk with its stunning backdrop of green mountains is a picturesque resort and definitely worth a visit.
