Gyeongju or Kyongju city was the capital of the Shila kingdom for over 1000 years. The National Museum - houses more than 80,000 artifacts from the Shila period. The bronze bell known as the Divine bell of King Seongdeok is also housed here and stands at 3 meters high and weighs 25 tons. It's the largest bell in Asia.
