I've been using Cerrentals since

Located between the cities of Daegu and Gimcheon, on the banks of the Nakdong River, lays Gumi. Primarily, the city is a large industrial centre, with textiles, rubber, metals and electronics operating within the town. However, there are also several things to see and do while visiting Gumi. Car hire in Gumi City is a popular transport option when exploring the city.

Gumi is located along the Gyeongbu Expressway and Railway, which are the major transportation links between Seoul and Busan, the southern regions most vibrant city. The closest international airport to Gumi is the Daegu Airport, located just 60kms from the city. Getting to the airport in Daegu can be done with car rental in Gumi City.

Gumi also has a number of hotels for those tourists on a stop-over in the city. A variety of elegant hotel chains can be located in the city, such as the Novotel and Best Western hotels. To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
