Aliwal North Guide

The town of Aliwal North is situated in South Africa's Eastern Cape province and neighbours the Free State area. It is a quite well developed town that has the beautiful Orange River running through it providing visitors with some great opportunities for practicing their photography.

The river is an attractive feature in Aliwal North but it is the two mineral springs in the town that have made this one of South Africa's best resorts.
