I phoned to change the

I phoned to change the time for pick up and return of the car. It was not a good experience. I was told I could not do it and encouraged to book an up grade. I wanted to change my booking and return by 4 hours from 10.00am to 2.oo pm. I was told it was not possible to change it. I was told a car would not be available. I said I would take the risk and ended up in cancelling my booking and then re booking on line. Not helpful. I almost did not use your site to re book.

Garapan Guide

Guide

Garapan is located on the island of Saipan. It is the largest village on the island, situated on the west coast. Saipan is part of the United States Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

Most of the hotels on the island of Saipan are located in the village of Garapan. The village is also home to the American Memorial Park dedicated to honouring soldiers who died in the Battle of Saipan. There are also various shops and restaurants near the hotels. Garapan is also the home to the largest elementary schools in the Commonwealth. It is also known for its red-light district but the government is spending money to improve the infrastructure and safety of the area to make Garapan a safe spot for residents and visitors alike.

The west coast of the island is scattered with beautiful coves, white sandy beaches and a large lagoon creating an off shore coral reef, great for snorkeling. The east coast of Saipan is mainly rocky with large steep cliffs. The island's highest point is Mount Tapochau, a limestone covered mountain. It was once thought to be an inactive volcano, but that has since been proven untrue.

The main language spoken on the island is English, but there is also a presence of people who speak Chamorro. There are other, smaller percentages of native languages from the import of workers from China, Bangladesh, Thailand, and Cambodia. There are also many first generation immigrants from Japan, Korea, China, and other islands.

If you will be visiting Garapan, a car is essential for getting about. You can explore the islands stunning countryside with ease. There is nothing like feeling the wind in your hair as you travel to new and exciting places in Garapan.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

 Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

 What is a worry-free label?

Only rental companies with a high level of customer satisfaction are eligible to be included in our Worry-Free selection. This rate includes excess cover and unlimited kilometres. Your vehicle will be provided and must be returned with a full tank of fuel. With a vehicle from our Worry-Free selection, you can travel with peace of mind and no hidden costs.

 How can I change or cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation through "My Account". We recommend contacting us by phone if your changes to your booking or cancellation takes place at short notice (48 hours or less).

 When will I get a confirmation of my booking?

Most reservations will receive confirmation within minutes after payment takes place. We recommend contacting our Booking Department for last minute reservations (pick-up within 48 hours).
