The wonderful city of Coyhaique can be found in the center of Patagonia, and is one of the largest cities in Chile. You can reach Coyhaique by plane from either Puerto Montt Airport or a short 3hour flight from Santiago Airport.

There are so many amazing attractions in and around Coyhaique city. You must make a stop at one of city's most famous Museums; 'Museo Regional de la Patagonia'. If you enjoy a spot of fishing then there's Coyhaique River which passes around the outskirts of the city and is a popular destination for water sport activities. Coyhaique, is one of the last unspoiled fly fishing destinations in the world.

You could also visit the 'Nature and Handicraft Fair', which is a permanent exhibition where artists work using different materials, which are all produced in Coyhaique.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
