Located on the Northern bank of the Brunei River is the city of Bandar Seri Begawan. It is the capital of Brunei and is the largest city with a population of approximately 700 residents per square mile for an overall population of around 27,000.

The city of Bandar Seri Begawan is one of the most popular destinations to visit within Brunei and there are many wonderful sights to see. Those who travel to the area make their way by plane via the Brunei International airport. There are also several roadways into the area. When visiting the city it's best to check for car hire services that might be available to you so that it's possible to get around without having to use public transportation.

Since the history of Bandar Seri Begawan dates back to the 7th century there are hundreds of places of interest for tourists to visit. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
