I phoned to change the

I phoned to change the time for pick up and return of the car. It was not a good experience. I was told I could not do it and encouraged to book an up grade. I wanted to change my booking and return by 4 hours from 10.00am to 2.oo pm. I was told it was not possible to change it. I was told a car would not be available. I said I would take the risk and ended up in cancelling my booking and then re booking on line. Not helpful. I almost did not use your site to re book.

Very good value for money

We booked a Yaris or

We booked a Yaris or similar, but on arrival were allocated a larger Hyundai Accent which was too large for my wife to drive. ECCR at Hobart apparently have very few Yaris-sized cars. Fortunately we were going to be passing nearby a few days later so were able to substitute the Accent for a smaller Kia Rio for the rest of our trip, but Carrentals need to check more carefully what sort of cars are actually available - size does matter, and a bigger car than you've booked isn't necessarily acceptable to all customers.

Good range of vehicles available. The main problem was lack of information about the additional cost of a one-way hire. When you initially enter details of the desired hire, your website shows the same price as for returning to the same location. Only when you proceed with the actual booking does the additional one-way hire fee appear. This is seriously misleading.

Located on the beautiful and relatively unspoiled Sunshine Coast, the resort town of Noosa offers travellers a relaxing and refreshing destination to enjoy spectacular scenery, superb beaches and a casual atmosphere.

The headland, with its fine white sandy beaches and national park areas, is the place to unwind and partake in the many recreational activities available, such as walking, swimming, windsurfing, surfing, boating and parasailing. The small national park that incorporates the headland has several interesting varieties of flora and fauna, and it is possible to see koalas in their natural environment.

Journey along the Noosa River and discover the towns of Tewantin and Noosaville, each with shady riverside restaurants. Tewantin also boasts a small marina, where cruises can be arranged to explore the lake systems of Cooroibah and Cootharaba. Along the river itself, you can hire canoes and boats to cruise the tranquil estuary.

Noosa Heads has plenty of first-class accommodations and quality restaurants. The nightlife is fairly subdued, mostly centred round the Sunshine Beach Road area, but some pubs have live bands and dancing.

The entire Sunshine Coast is dotted with small picturesque beaches and seaside resort towns, and Noosa is a convenient base for exploring Fraser Island, the world’s largest sand island. If you’ve had enough of beaches and water, head to the magnificent Glasshouse Mountains for some rewarding hiking and stunning views.

Brisbane International Airport serves direct international flights from most major cities, and connections can be made to the Noosa area, or alternative transportation arrangements can be organized.

What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.
