I phoned to change the

I phoned to change the time for pick up and return of the car. It was not a good experience. I was told I could not do it and encouraged to book an up grade. I wanted to change my booking and return by 4 hours from 10.00am to 2.oo pm. I was told it was not possible to change it. I was told a car would not be available. I said I would take the risk and ended up in cancelling my booking and then re booking on line. Not helpful. I almost did not use your site to re book.

Very good value for money

We booked a Yaris or

We booked a Yaris or similar, but on arrival were allocated a larger Hyundai Accent which was too large for my wife to drive. ECCR at Hobart apparently have very few Yaris-sized cars. Fortunately we were going to be passing nearby a few days later so were able to substitute the Accent for a smaller Kia Rio for the rest of our trip, but Carrentals need to check more carefully what sort of cars are actually available - size does matter, and a bigger car than you've booked isn't necessarily acceptable to all customers.

Good range of vehicles available

Good range of vehicles available. The main problem was lack of information about the additional cost of a one-way hire. When you initially enter details of the desired hire, your website shows the same price as for returning to the same location. Only when you proceed with the actual booking does the additional one-way hire fee appear. This is seriously misleading.

Named after Berwick-Upon-Tweed in England, it is perhaps no great surprise that Berwick, Victoria is a town that has a decidedly English flavour to it. Mock-Tudor buildings and many equestrian events help make the area seem like a relic from a bye-gone day but with it being situated only 40km from Melbourne, its possible to enjoy the quiet life in Berwick and then by arranging transport from one of the available Berwick car hire firms be experiencing the best that Melbourne has to offer.

If you are staying with children, they are sure to love Berwick as it offers so much for them to participate in, which is guaranteed to keep them busy. A riding school and equestrian centre will provide excitement for any young horse fan, and Myunna Farm offers a whole host of animals and children related activities for your young ones to enjoy. With a multitude of other activities for the whole family (including laser skirmish) Wilson Botanic Park and Lysterfield Park Lake, you may also need to visit a Berwick car hire firm to get transport to fit everything in, as there is much that going on, it would be a shame to miss anything out.

What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

Are there any additional costs?

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

What kind of insurance is applicable to my car rental?

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.

What is a worry-free label?
