Indicate better which companie allow you to travel outside Spain. I had to discover this thoygh a rjection of my first car hire choice after I indicyed I would travel some kms in Portugal. These type of etrors can be prevented in the bokking system itself.

Situated in the centre of town, it is easy to pick up cheap car hire in Bilbao Rail Station. It is within walking distance of many hotels in central Bilbao, while the airport is just a few kilometres to the north.

The Guggenheim Museum is just north of here and is also south of the river, while Etxebarria Parkea is just over the river to the east. Other things to see close by with car rental in Bilbao Rail Station include the Casco Viejo (Old Quarter) as well as a glut of excellent restaurants.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.
